2018 Bird Doggin Classic

Bird Doggin' Classic Guidelines and General Information

TICKETS:

• Tickets will all be pre sold and will not be available at the event.

HUNTING:

• Please respect all landowner’s fields, property and signs. This includes having landowner’s permission.
• Abide by all Hunting Rules and Regulations.  Refer to a synopsis for all information.
• Please clean all birds out of town, excluding the birds that you wish to enter into the Big Bird Competition.
• Anyone wishing to donate cleaned birds to be cooked at the banquet may do so and all are greatly appreciated.

BIG BIRD COMPETITION:

There will be prizes for:

• Biggest Rooster (most bars)
• Biggest Hungarian Partridge (by weight)
• Biggest Sharptail Grouse (by weight)

• All birds entered in the competition must be fully intact until an official judge has weighed or counted the bars from your bird. Judges decision is final.  Bird weigh in is 4:00-6:00pm at the event site in Goodwater. TO BE ELIGIBLE, ALL BIRDS MUST BE IN BY THIS TIME! NO EXCEPTIONS.

BANQUET AND AUCTION:

• Cocktails at the Goodwater Rink start at 4:00pm. 
• Supper will be served at approximately 6:00pm with an auction and live band to follow.

ACCOMODATIONS:

• Please feel free to bring a trailer, tent or motor home.  Camping is not serviced but electricity may be available.
• There will be an evening shuttle service to Weyburn available.
